Summer + Pool + Hookah = THE GOOD LIFE

It's almost summer and you know what that means. PARTY TIME! Last summer I began seeing a growing trend, people bringing their hookahs with them to the pool. My friends in Dallas and I decided to try it once ourselves and we had an awesome time. Smoking hookah at a beach, lake, or poolside can be enjoyable to do. It's relaxing and the watching the water and smoking your hookah can put you in a relaxed mood. Accompanied by good friends, good music, good drinks, and you will feel like your having the time of your life. Before you head out on vacation this year make sure you pick up a hookah and some tobacco for the road. I recommend the portable hookahs that come with a carrying case for people who plan to be on the go during the summer. Having a case to carry your hookah, tobacco, and accessories makes a lot of difference! Hookah carrying cases come in a variety of boxes and styles. The box size usually is dependent upon the hookah size. My recommendation for a portable hookah that works well is the Chinese Diamond Cut Hookahs which range in sizes from 22inches to 24 inches. This was one of my first hookahs and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Its easy to assemble, comes with a carrying case, and has the ball bearing system which allows a single person or multiple people to smoke even with though it has three hose adapters. What is your all time favorite shisha(tobacco) flavor?

Just as any connoisseur would tell you,

I have traveled the seven seas and smoked hookah in lands "where they can barely understand what I speak"(got that line off Lupe Fiasco's-Paris,Tokyo song..haa). There is not one favorite hookah tobacco flavor but many favorite flavors for me. Strawberry, Watermelon, Wildberry Mint, Melon, Double Apple, and the list goes on and on.People often ask me what my favorite flavor is since for the past 5 years I have been experimenting with shisha and combined with my brother and friends expertise we have over 15 years of experience so I think its safe to say we know whats good and whats not. I have tried Nakhla, Starbuzz, Tonic, Fantasia, Tangiers, Fumari, Al Waha, Soex, Afzal, Al Fakher...the list goes on again. My experience with most of the brands I listed above has been great! The way I look at smoking shisha is if your going to be spending 5-10 minutes setting the hookah up you want a shisha that is worth your time. I do have to say currently at the moment I am stuck on the Tonic line of shishas. They taste incredible and give you a delightful buzz! Tonic offers many unique flavors including Exotic Watermelon, Choclate Mint Vanilla, Pinal Colada, Royal Blackberry, and Sex On the Beach(yes, it tastes as good as it sounds...Haha). My advice to any hookah smoker beginning to smoke hookah is try out different flavors and see what you like. Everyone has different taste buds but you will defintely not go wrong with Tonic! Hookah's Revival in Modern Day America



Houston is the fourth-largest city in the United States and the largest city on the eastern side of the state of Texas. It has one of the most diverse populations with an assortment of people from different ethnicities and backgrounds.
